  • Most people rinse straight after brushing… but that might not be doing your teeth any favours. Toothpaste contains fluoride, which helps strengthen enamel and protect against decay. When you rinse straight away, you wash a lot of that protection off. That’s why we often recommend: Spit, don’t rinse No need to go full astronaut and swallow it 😅 but letting the fluoride sit on your teeth for a bit longer can make a real difference.
